US buyers: when would you want an address-specific insurance quote?

For a US home search, at what point would you want to move from a rough insurance allowance to a quote for the actual property?

Interested in the buying workflow, especially where cost or availability might change the shortlist.

Early enough for the result to change the decision. I'd want the assumptions and coverage alongside the premium, so a lower number isn't just less protection.
 
And somebody qualified to explain the exclusions and deductibles for that address. A national average would not settle whether a particular home fits the budget.
