Searching abroad on Anyone.com: when does a shortlist become worth a trip?

For someone using Anyone.com to explore homes abroad, what would you want settled before booking a viewing trip?

I'd put location fit and the actual availability of the shortlisted properties ahead of packing several cities into a weekend. How many unanswered questions would be too many?

Get the route between the homes straight before deciding how many you can view. A map full of pins doesn't show how tiring the day will be.

I'd want floor plans, basic running costs and answers to the deal-breakers first. No point flying out to discover a requirement the listing never addressed.

And independent local help where needed. Finding a home through an international website doesn't settle the local checks required to buy it.
