Osaka property meetup — January 2026: who’s interested?

I’m organising an informal property meetup in Osaka in January 2026. The suggested agenda is local market observations, financing, deal analysis, then a short round of practical questions.

If you’re interested, please say whether an early evening or a weekend suits you better. I’ll choose a central venue once there’s a rough headcount. It would also help to know if accessibility, cost or remote access would affect whether you can join.

Interested. A weekend afternoon would work better for me than an early evening. Somewhere close to public transport would be ideal, especially if people are coming from different parts of Osaka. Do you intend the deal-analysis section to use one prepared example, or should attendees bring their own cases?

Early evening gets my vote. Weekends can actually be harder for people with family commitments, so I wouldn’t assume they are automatically more inclusive. Perhaps collect preferences for two or three possible January dates before reserving anything. I’d also keep the venue inexpensive rather than paying for a larger room before numbers are clear.

I’m interested, with a preference for the weekend. Could the final venue be step-free, or at least have its accessibility details confirmed beforehand? “Central” is useful, but the walking route from the nearest station matters too.

One more thought: a simple agenda with approximate timings would help. Financing and deal analysis could easily take over the whole meeting, leaving no room for practical questions. Even a short pause between sections would make it easier for people to arrive or leave without disrupting the discussion.

Would remote access genuinely work for this format? It sounds attractive, but a laptop at the end of a café table can leave remote participants unable to hear most of the conversation. Unless the venue supports it properly, I’d rather see a separate online follow-up than have the organiser take on a difficult hybrid setup.

Agree with vandersson on hybrid access. A separate remote session could also avoid restricting the venue choice. For the in-person meeting, I suggest the organiser first gathers date preferences and accessibility needs, then confirms a capacity and any per-person cost before asking for firm attendance. My preference is early evening, near a well-connected station.
