New York property team seeking a leasing agent

The detail that changed our view of this hire was how much coordination happens after the initial leasing conversation. We therefore need a New York leasing agent who can research the local market, maintain organised follow-up and leave a clear record as a transaction moves between tenants, owners and the rest of the property team.

Direct property experience is useful, but so is the ability to explain why a lead or listing should be prioritised. For example, we would rather see a reasoned follow-up plan than a long contact list with no next actions.

Candidates can reply with their location, availability and the property work they know best. Questions about transaction volume, the salary range and first-quarter expectations are welcome so the practical scope can be clarified.

Is this role based on-site in New York, hybrid, or potentially remote? A salary range and reporting line would also help candidates judge the fit. It would be useful to know the team size and approximate transaction volume, since “several parties” can mean very different workloads.

I agree on publishing the salary range before asking people to apply. I’d also want to know the first-quarter goals: building market knowledge, improving follow-up, or actively moving a set number of leases forward? Which software does the team use, and is travel expected outside New York? Those details would make the requested availability much easier to answer.
