London property meetup — May 2026

If we choose an awkward date or an expensive venue, a useful London meetup could lose people before it starts. I am planning an informal property gathering for May 2026 and would like views on an early weekday evening versus a weekend.

The session would cover current local observations, finance and a worked deal example, followed by practical questions. Once there is a rough headcount, I will look for a venue with good public-transport links and check cost and step-free access. Please also say whether remote access would determine attendance; if it cannot be run properly, a written recap may be a better compromise.

Interested. An early weekday evening would work better for me, ideally somewhere near several Tube or rail routes rather than simply “central.” Will the deal-analysis section use a sample scenario circulated beforehand? That might keep the conversation concrete and leave enough time for questions.

I would vote for a weekend. Travelling across London at weekday rush hour can turn a short meetup into a long commitment. I also wouldn't try to offer remote access unless someone can manage it properly; a weak laptop stream may distract from the room. A brief written recap afterwards could be more useful.

Either timing could work, depending on the date. Before booking, could you confirm whether the venue will be free or whether attendees will share a room charge? Capacity and step-free access are worth checking with the rough headcount too. On the agenda, perhaps ask people to submit practical questions in advance, then group similar ones so the final round doesn't repeat points already covered.
