I’m comparing proposals for a building inspection on a New York warehouse priced around $1,445,000. The cheapest proposal excludes negotiation support and most document coordination, while broader offers say they remain involved between the offer and closing.
What should reasonably be included: site visit, written findings, cost estimates, specialist referrals, document follow-up, and answers within an agreed time? I also want fees and exclusions stated clearly. Price per square metre is hard to compare when the scopes differ so much. Specific US examples of useful deliverables would help.
