Bangkok property team seeking transaction coordinator

SelmaBell

Property manager
We have defined the broad scope of a Bangkok transaction coordinator role, but the likely workload and first-quarter priorities still need to be made clear to applicants. The post will support a property team through transaction tracking, local market research, follow-ups and accurate records.

We’re interested in relevant property experience as well as the ability to state assumptions clearly and coordinate several participants. Further details should cover transaction volume, reporting lines, working arrangements, the salary range and any travel within Bangkok. Candidates can outline their availability, location and strongest area of property work, together with how they organise active files.

The responsibilities sound relevant, but I would hesitate to apply without knowing the practical terms. A Bangkok-based office role with regular travel has a different cost and time impact from a hybrid position, even when the duties are identical.

Please state the pay band, normal work location and expected travel, as well as who supervises the coordinator. Those details would let candidates judge basic suitability before the discussion moves on to transaction volume and first-quarter targets.

I’d also separate the core responsibility from the supporting tasks. Market research and transaction coordination can become two different jobs if transaction volume is high. What are the first-quarter goals, how large is the team, and roughly how many active transactions would this person be expected to track?

Agreed with Clara, although the software stack matters just as much as volume. Applicants should probably describe how they currently organise follow-ups and document assumptions, while the team should state which systems are already in place. That would make it easier to judge whether the role needs strong local property knowledge from day one or whether process skills are the bigger priority.
