Athens: what should a listing photography package actually include?

I would like one clear written scope for marketing a small Athens multifamily priced at about €506,000, but the obstacle is that providers use “listing photography” for very different services. One quote may cover only images and delivery, while another hints at offer support, paperwork and coordination without saying who is responsible.

For the photography itself, should the scope specify the number and format of images, turnaround, revisions, usage rights, access delays and every fee? If support continues beyond marketing, I would also want the named contact, exact handoffs, response deadline and quoted transaction tasks set out separately.

Local knowledge sounds attractive, but it would only affect my choice if the provider can explain the relevant Greek process and identify what must be referred elsewhere. What would you expect to see in the scope before instructing anyone?

I would separate the photography from transaction support. A photography quote should state the images and related deliverables, price, timing, revisions, usage, and what happens if access or weather causes delay. Negotiation and document coordination are different responsibilities and should not be implied by vague package wording. For anything extending to closing, ask who answers, within what timeframe, and where every handoff is recorded.

The missing fact is whether you need marketing work, buyer representation, owner-side coordination, or all three. I would not choose one provider merely because it promises a single contact; that can hide subcontracting or unclear accountability. Ask for an itemised € quote, named responsibilities, local examples you can independently verify, and a fallback if the main contact misses a response deadline. For the Greek transaction elements, have the proposed scope checked locally before signing.
