An autumn second viewing: what would you look at differently?

A home viewed on a bright afternoon can feel quite different on a wet evening. If you're going back for a second look this autumn, what would you use that visit to learn?

For me, the question is how the place works on an ordinary day: light, noise, getting in with shopping and where wet coats and shoes go.

Ask about any visible signs of water getting in and what has been investigated. A viewing can prompt questions; it doesn't replace a proper assessment of a suspected defect.

I'd include the route home. The walk that looks short on a map might feel different after dark or in the rain. That doesn't automatically rule an area out, but it belongs in the decision.
