Acquisition analyst role with Singapore property team

A research-only hire would leave too much transaction work uncovered, while a pure deal coordinator would not provide enough analysis. We are therefore seeking an acquisition analyst for a Singapore property team who can assess local opportunities, follow up with the parties involved and maintain reliable deal records.

Relevant property experience matters, particularly where the candidate can show how they evaluated opportunities and handled several live transactions. Please include where you are based, when you could start, the property sectors you know, and any work-location or travel constraints.

Salary may attract the first applications, but the work arrangement is the harder issue for candidates to work around. Please state whether the role requires regular attendance in a Singapore office, allows hybrid work or could be done remotely, along with the compensation range. That will let people decide whether applying is realistic before discussing reporting lines and responsibilities.

Also, who would the analyst report to, and how large is the property team? “Acquisition analyst” can mean anything from research support to managing much of the transaction process, so the reporting line would help define the seniority.

I would put first-quarter goals ahead of the software list. A candidate needs to know whether success means building a pipeline, improving documentation, evaluating live opportunities or coordinating existing deals. The software can usually be learned; an unclear mandate is harder to fix.

Both are worth covering. Transaction volume and asset focus would give useful context, while the software stack shows how the team actually handles analysis and follow-up. It would also help to state whether travel is expected within Singapore or elsewhere.

Applicants could keep responses practical: location, earliest start date, strongest property experience, and one brief example of explaining an assumption or coordinating several parties.

One more basic point: is this a permanent role, a fixed-term engagement or a contract assignment? Without that, salary comparisons and availability answers may not be comparable. Even a short outline of the interview process would help suitable applicants decide what information to send initially.
